[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellpadding,0,true][atrb=cellspacing,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i56.tinypic.com/2dl2f5x.jpg] udtqPain jolted her awake, her arm was being stuck with something sharp. She was alert to a dark, steel tone claw that threatened to pierce her skin. The claw, she noted, was larger than any she had seen in animal encyclopedias and belonged to one of two pairs of three. The owner of the claw was not a person, but a bipedal animal. They stood at the side of the bed she woke up in, and she tried to scramble away from them with grace; that was, of course, impossible, but the important thing was, she put some distance between herself and those claws unlike any animal’s on earth.
udtqShe shouldn't have been so surprised, people don't often possess claws; her assailant resembled a feline with big, clumsy rabbit paws and long ears. The creature's ears resembled wings, plumes of hair sprouted from them. The possibility she was faced with a chimera wasn't the most shocking thing; that was its lavender colored fur and grayish underbelly. It narrowed its blood red eyes at her and opened its mouth, revealing two rows of fangs in addition to the two that were visible before, a mockery of innocent rabbit teeth.
udtq"You don't look like much, kid." its masculine voice was strangely familiar, and it drew back its paw after she stopped moving, “I’m Gazimon, who are you?” Gazimon asked, as though the transition from attack, verbal and physical, to introduction was smooth, “Adalyn Mainet Gilette, Maddie for short.” the girl, Adalyn, replied, “Right… I’m not going to address you as Maddie, Adalyn.” Gazimon crossed his arms, looking rather stern for a little, purple cat-rabbit, “Well, then, define impressive.” Adalyn changed the subject to the much older one, which started the conversation.
udtqGazimon pretended to think about her question for a moment, “When somebody doesn’t run from a little pain, the possibility of a fight, they impress me.” he slashed the air once with one paw, then the other, and after that he remained poised to attack, “It’s human instinct, we’ve got this fight-or-flight response thing, and we tend more towards flight than fight.” Adalyn shrugged, “Besides, I fled to strategize, I’ve trained my mind and body to fight, instead, if I must.” Adalyn put up her own fists somewhat playfully, “Pfft, I can already tell you’re no match for me…” Gazimon let his paws fall to his sides, “Only because I’m unarmed.” Adalyn countered.
udtq“No, you weren’t born onto the battlefield.” Gazimon shook his head slowly, “Are you saying that fighting is your raison d'être?” Adalyn asked, “It’s possible.” Gazimon answered, “It’s no wonder my parents never let me get a cat, they’re always ready to pounce.” Adalyn laughed airily, but Gazimon left their conversation at that.
udtqAdalyn pulled her knees to her chest and rested her chin on top of them. She thought about what to do next, starting with the basics, her surroundings. She and Gazimon were in a room, it was very… Modern, she was sitting on a water mattress, around the bed, which was circular, with checkerboard covers, there was white carpet, and the rest of the floorboard was oak. There was a bedside table and drawers and an armoire and a vanity mirror in the room, all of the furnishing was white. White and black, the two neutrals, white activated all three color cones in both eyes and black absorbed all light frequencies; Adalyn was never fond of interior design in either neutral by itself or just the two, together, they didn’t come in any other shades.
udtq“It’s like waking up in the Apple store.” Adalyn gagged. Gazimon couldn’t have commented upon that if he wanted to, having never been to the human world, much less a human store.
udtqAdalyn might have liked modern styled things, but she was also French. Modern times brought eyesores like the Louvre and the Beaubourg. Adalyn wore simple clothes, a white t-shirt with pink lips and a blue thunderbolt behind them, a black undershirt peaked out from behind the wide collar of the shirt, blue jeans rolled up so she could wear her boots… Her boots, brown leather with darker brown felt laces that crisscrossed up to a bow at the top, were lying past the threshold of white carpet around the bed, on the oak: Farther yet than her boots, a jungle was separated from the room by rectangular window of frameless glass.
udtq“That… Is a little bit creepy.” Adalyn remarked. Gazimon wasn’t sure what she was talking about, and he still would not have said anything, anyway.
udtqThe modern style of the bedroom wasn’t the only problem Adalyn had with it, it was so pristine and perfect that she didn’t get the impression anyone inhabited it regularly. Everything was set up, but it sure took its sweet time being put into motion. Two years ago her guitar turned into a playing card with a monster on it, the monster was Gazimon. As she learned to turn the card into her guitar again by thinking about it, but not too hard because words set limits, Gazimon appeared as a hologram and asked her for her help to save something, the Digital World… That was when she first heard his voice. The message was garbled, so she suspected she had been sucked into a conspiracy, though. She convinced herself that nanobots caused her guitar’s transformations.
udtqEarlier today, December vinget et un (twenty-one) in the year deux mille dix, (two thousand ten) Adalyn discovered that something far beyond conspiracies and the wonders of nanobot technology must have been behind the guitar to card thing. Her grandmother sent her out grocery shopping, she sent a text to tell her that she was coming home, and she didn’t intend to lie about that. After the standard message that her text had been sent successfully appeared, her cell phone’s screen went staticy. Static, all of the frequencies that produced any and all of the sounds in the world, she didn’t think her phone could make such a noise the way a TV could. Nor did she ever think ropes of white ones and zeros on black, empty space would come from her phone and wrap around her and she would feel herself losing consciousness... As in, her consciousness disappeared when her cell hit the concrete.
udtqShe woke up in this foreign room, with Gazimon at her side, and she supposed she had materialized in the Digital World. Adalyn hoped that this room wasn’t the entirety of the Digital World and she got off of the circular bed at last, crossing the threshold between the carpet and the oak floorboard to join her boots and put them. She tapped the toes of her boots against the floor to make sure they were on well, motioned for Gazimon to follow her with a swish of her brunette hair, and she exited the room. She looked out of place there, and in the hallway that met her dark brown eyes. No one looked like a picture in a modern house, not even her, with her creamy complexion and graceful, petite features; she didn’t match with the industrially manufactured chessboard white and black furniture and walls.
udtq“I’m at as much of a loss as to what, exactly to do now as you are, Adalyn.” Gazimon announced, having deducted that in the moments she had taken to think she hadn’t thought up a plan because she hadn’t mentioned it like she had her two observations, or whatever they were, “Now we wait for something to happen while we explore this place.” Adalyn told him before she walked ahead, but she didn’t hear paws padding along with her, so she threw a glance over her shoulder to see Gazimon sniffing the air, “Whatever happens, if anything does, we’re not the only ones in here, so we have to be cautious.” Gazimon warned, “We should head down those stairs, over there, I don’t smell anyone as strongly as I do up here, in that direction.” He led the way to the spiraling staircase.
udtqThe staircase led to a wide, luxurious living room. Adalyn had to admit that she liked the living room for something modern, it had all of the entertainment works. She didn’t check to see if anything was functional, though. She sat down on a checkerboard print couch facing the stairs, Gazimon joined her, and the two waited for someone to walk down the stairs, “Waiting is a pain.” Gazimon complained, “Not when you have me to keep you company.” Adalyn said, but her words came off slightly sarcastic. Funny, she failed to ask what species Gazimon was in the midst of everything that happened.

You Spin Me Right Round... [atrb=border,0,true] | [atrb=border,0,true] Okay. This place felt like it didn't belong. He'd been plodding along in this mansion for how long, he didn't know. All he did know was that this place reeked of something off. That was what irked the Gaomon to no end. This odd feeling...He tried to ignore it as best as he could, but his efforts came fruitless. The mansion itself was a simple design of black and white. The marble floor was painted black and white like a checker board, the two walls of any and every hallway were either colored black, white or a combination of both. He'd come across this gigantic palace while he'd been traversing around. It seemed pretty elegant to belong in a jungle, but he didn't judge the house owners. Speaking of which.
"Who owns this place..?" he muttered, scratching his chin. Anyone with common sense would have some sort of security in an....unique place as this. He didn't want to comment on the design. For some reason, he feared that the place might come to life and suddenly attack him. The poor, poor delusions his mind cooks up. After a bit of walking, he came across a closed door. The door was white in color obviously, so it didn't blend in with the decor of the house. Hesitantly, Zephyr turned the doorknob, opening the door. He was surprised by the contents of the room.
"Rapture..." he muttered to himself. He slid on his glasses and grinned, his tail wagging rapidly. He'd come across one of the biggest libraries he'd ever seen! The fact that he'd been wandering around this infernal place was going to make him snap at some point if he couldn't find a way out. But who could say he couldn't have fun while doing it? He was a bit of a book nerd for reasons unknown, but he embraced it with both arms.
He scouted around the entire plethora of books. There were a lot of books, this was obvious, but the Gaomon was favored toward the horror genre. If that kind of literature didn't exist in this wondrous place, it would suffer at his hands. It took him some time, but he finally found one he was willing to read. "Final Destination; The tale of a group of humans falling under weird incidents, causing their death, blah blah blah. Seems like a good read." he said to himself, nodding. He plucked the book from its shelf, returning to his trek around the mansion. The Child level put back up his sunglasses, keeping them secured with his headband.
He resumed walking around until he found another door. He cocked his face to the side. Just what could be in there? This was a little problem with Zephyr. He always got too curious if it interested him, and now, this door was his target. He opened it, revealing a stair case going down. The Gaomon began walking down, book shoved between his armpit. Once he was done going down, the stairs led into a luxurious living room, complete with the same checkerboard design he'd seen since he walked in here. Everything accompanied inside looked pretty modern, but didn't bother to check as he noticed he wasn't alone. Another digimon was sitting beside a human on the couch. A Gazimon. He looked sort of impatient , while the human just looked plain lost. He resisted a shiver that ran through his body. He hadn't run into a human yet, and he preferred to keep it that way. Someone just had to be doing this at his own expense. For the moment, he had to act nice to not raise any suspicion. "Um, are you the owners of this mansion? if so, I'm really sorry for trespassing." he said hesitantly. He was still unsure of them being trustworthy.
He didn't have any proof that a human could own such a place as this. But that could also explain the lack of security in this place. He really wanted to get out of this room as fast as he could, but then where would he be then? If they knew a way out, the answer would lie within these strangers. |

A black claw gently pushed against the sleeping boy's cheek repeatedly. "Man, this kid sleeps like a rock..." came the mutter of a white seal, decorated with purple markings and a mohawk of orange hair. An impatient expression was on his face as he continuously poked the human laying before him.
The human, dressed in a dark-blue jacket, a gray hoodie beneath that, and a pair of tan pants let out a loud yawn. The seal got an excited look for a moment, but it disappeared as the human turned on his side. An exasperated sigh came from the creature, and he scooted back slightly. He took in a deep breath, and rammed himself head-on into the kid's back. He rolled over, laying on his front again, still sleeping.
"Wake up!" The creature jumped on his chest, and drew a flipper back. He drew his hand back, and slapped him in the face. Surprisingly, he got a reaction. His eyes opened halfways, and he smacked his lips, yawning once again.
"Hello, seal-thing..." he muttered tiredly before his eyes closed again. A stress mark made itself apparent on the seal's head.
The boy's eyes flew open widely the next second, and he stared right into the seal's own, green eyes. His jaw dropped. "About damn time. You're one of those types to sleep through an apocalypse, ya know that?"
IT TALKED?!?!
"Wh-what?!" he shot straight upwards, throwing the seal off of his chest, and kicked himself back across the cold floor. He soon found his back to a wall, and he raised an accusing finger. "What the hell are you?!" he demanded. "Where am I?! What's going on?!"
"Reeeelax, kid," the creature shook his head. "The name's Gomamon, I'm a digimon." The boy only blinked. "Right now, looks like we're in a mansion... You're lazy ass was sleeping on the floor forever, and you finally just woke up. What's your name, by the way?"
"How can I relax? I woke up to a talking seal-monster in the middle of some mansion... and..." he let out a sigh. "It's gotta be a dream, so I'll just play along, kay?" Gomamon shrugged. Whatever worked. "Anyway, my name's Tsukasa Mori..."
"Great, now we're getting somewhere," Gomamon replied. "Now get up, we've gotta go check out those voices. Probably more digimon.. Tsukasa uncontrollably shivered.
"More of you...?" He put a hand to his head before standing up. He pinched his cheek, "Owe... maybe this isn't a dream." He gave a loud yawn. "Alright, well, let's go then," he shrugged casually. He slipped his hands into his pocket, and his fingers brushed against something.
His iPod. He had that? Well, at least this whole thing wasn't a complete loss. Gomamon walked over to Tsukasa, and looked up to him expectantly. Tsukasa blinked. "Carry me."
"'Scuse me?" Tsukasa's eyebrow rose, and he folded his arms. "Walk yourself." Tsukasa started walking past him, but a heavy weight slammed against his back. He grumbled as Gomamon climbed up on his shoulder, grinning widely. He didn't object, and just continued up the stairs.
He opened the door, revealing a very modernized living room, and he instantly took in the sights. He jumped slightly at the sight of two more animals. "There's more of you?!"
"Sorry we're late to the party!" Gomamon waved, jumping down from Tsukasa's back, scooting over towards the blue dog digimon and the gray rabbit. Tsukasa just stared. He wanted to scream, but what good would that do...? Maaan, what else could...
His eyes set on the other human in the room. Another human? Another human girl! Another, cute human girl, no less. Tsukasa beamed. Freaking out could wait! He bounded over to the girl's side immediately, "Hello, name's Tsukasa Mori. Might I ask your name, lovely lady?" Tsukasa was a flirt. Was there shame in admitting that? Of course not!

“Oh? What’s that like?” Adalyn replied with another question, ”It’s like being human, except I’m a digimon.” Gazimon rolled his eyes at Adalyn; she was making small talk and she wasn’t even trying to be sincerely interested in it.
”Are you even listening to me, Adalyn?” Gazimon demanded, he wasn’t going to put up with the state of their conversations, ”Yup, I am, Gazimon.” Adalyn confirmed with a nod, and Gazimon shot her an unseen glare.
Just because they were stuck together didn’t mean Gazimon had to respond at all if Adalyn was always going to communicate with him in vague ways. Gazimon was of the opinion that if Adalyn didn’t honestly want to talk to him, then she should definitely be quiet.
Adalyn met Gazimon’s eyes and asked, “How old are you?” her head was tilted to the side, she looked curious, “I’m seventeen years old.” she added, ”I’m less than a year old.” Gazimon replied carefully, he wasn’t sure if he should describe to Adalyn how new his life was.
For the human girl’s social ineptitude and how she accepted situations, Gazimon would hate to see one of her freak out sessions. He would stick to giving Adalyn tentative information that leaned more towards certainty. There were things about Gazimon’s existence that he didn’t understand himself.
He didn’t have any memories of the time after he sent that hologram to Adalyn. His memories of the hologram were as blurry as the message. Gazimon doubted that Adalyn would be as open to hearing that his earliest memories were of her asleep in the Digital World because that was plain creepy.
Digimon were a thought-provoking subject, ‘Like a sea turtle who’s naturally inclined toward an arduous return to the sea, he has real instincts: he’s innately aggressive, he can speak, he knows he’s a Digimon, and beyond that he could probably still grow and change…’ Adalyn quietly mused.
Humans had to learn things; they didn’t know much of anything from the get-go. What Digimon knew could be an evolutionary, and that was an extreme even for age old adaptions. She was willing to accept that she was in another world with different natural laws.
A blue dog digimon descended the stairs to the living room; he could walk on two legs like Gazimon. Adalyn raised an eyebrow at the digimon newcomer, he had manners, but Gazimon didn’t really have manners.
“There would be a radar and nothing would get past it if we owned this mansion.” Gazimon narrowed his red eyes at the other digimon, “Where did you come from and how did you get here?” Gazimon openly interrogated him.
Adalyn’s gaze flicked to Gazimon for a moment, making waves wasn’t any better than seeming “weak.” Gazimon might as well have tried to return a little bit of the new digimon’s respect. The digimon hadn’t attacked them on sight, so there was plenty of time to establish whether or not they could trust each other, as far Adalyn was concerned.
“That’s Gazimon, by the way. I’m Adalyn, but you can call me Maddie, if you’d like.” she said. Gazimon twitched beside Adalyn, she should have waited for the Gaomon’s reaction before saying all of that.
Not long after the dog digimon arrived a human boy carrying a seal digimon on his back burst onto the scene. Flirting wasn’t serious to begin with, but Adalyn was surprised that he actually bounded up to her. The boy’s actions reminded her of a certain cartoon character and Adalyn simply blinked at him for a moment, then she figured he must flirt with all girls.
“My name’s Adalyn,” she introduced herself before motioning to Gazimon, who was looking up at the human boy inquisitively, “and he’s Gazimon.” Adalyn would have offered her hand to the boy, but that would only encourage him to flirt with her.

You Spin Me Right Round... [atrb=border,0,true] | [atrb=border,0,true] "That was a bit rash." he retorted. That gray digimon seemed a bit on edge for someone partnered to a human. He was making guesses, but he was mostly right. He didn't look too happy answering his question. He sighed, rolling his yellow eyes. Why did the Gazimon he had to run into be all brash and angry all the time? It didn't seem nice to be like that all the time, but then again, Zephyr himself had some brooding moments. He raised an eyebrow at the mammal's other question. He sighed once more. Smartass comment or not? He settled for the former because it was more fun that way.
"Well for starters, I came from an egg surely you must know. As for how I got here, no idea other than the fact this place was sitting in the middle of a jungle." he replied with a toothy grin on his face. If the Gazimon was going to be impolite, then he might as well reply with the smartass card. It usually guaranteed getting punched, scratched or verbally abused, but it was sometimes worth it. The Gaomon's yellow eyes observed the human. At least she was being nice. " You see, there is someone who knows how to be nice. Pleasure to meet you, Maddie. I'm Zephyr." he ended his introduction with a curt bow. How he loved acting like this. He returned back to his original position. He slightly jumped at the new voice. When he turned around, he was taken aback.
Another human and digimon. Dear goodness, this just wasn't his day. He found a good book to read, wanting to cuddle up in the corner and just dive into the pages, but that dream was shot dead with the newcomers. He raised an eyebrow at the white seal digimon. Then he turned his attention to the human who had bounded over to the girl's side. He instantly began flirting. Really? Even Zephyr knew that was a bit fast. A few seconds and already on her like a leech. She replied back with the same response. He clicked his jaw, crossing his arms on his white chest. "Well, isn't this a party if I didn't see one? Mind telling us how you got here, lover boy?" The Gaomon let out a small laugh. It was like looking through some odd, odd mirror.

"It's nice to meet you," He didn't even particularly notice the Gazimon, and paid him no mind. He was sad there was no handshake, but he'd survive.
Gomamon, meanwhile, was interested in more than just human girls. He was quietly observing everything that was going on. And good lord was it boring. His human partner was flirting with the other human, and then this Gazimon was a sour jerk, and the Gaomon, Zephyr it seemed, addressed Tsukasa.
Gomamon chuckled at the nick name, 'lover boy'. Tsukasa blinked and looked over to the blue dog talking to him. He pointed a finger at himself.
"Lover-boy?" he asked innocently. "I'm just trying to be nice. This poor girl was all alone with a bunch of weird monsters." he stood up sternly and tall, hitting a hand against his chest. "It's my duty to protect beautiful women, no matter the circumstances!" he sounded pretty sure about that.
Gomamon slapped a flipper against his face in the closest thing he could get to preforming a facepalm. "Not to interrupt your tirade," Gomamon said, causing Tsukasa to stagger. "But shouldn't we, oh, I dunno, explore this mansion and find out what the hell we're doing here? We should probably find out if anyone else is here too, huh?"
"I guess so..." Tsukasa mused. "But where do we start? Do you guys have any ideas?"
"We should stay away from any attics. There's bound to be something scary up there." Tsukasa nodded in full agreement with the digimon. "The basement, surprisingly, wasn't full of some sort of creepy Bakemon, or anything like that, though." he beamed.
"Did you guys see anything?" Tsukasa asked Adalyn, Gazimon, and Gaomon. But mostly just Adalyn. He'd do anything he could to talk with her more. After all, she was just so cute! Tsukasa wibbled at the thought.

He didn’t attack us on sight, or even try to make enemies of us upon introduction,” she eyed her partner digimon, “So we should talk to him.” and that concluded her chiding.
Gazimon disagreed because humans didn’t belong in the digital world. Zephyr seemed like he had sassed his share of digimon threats. Porkyupamon’s chance of having quills he wanted humans around. Gazimon’s opportunity to continue the verbal war he tried to start with Gaomon vanished when Tsukasa and Gomamon appeared, though.
“Thank you…” was all Adalyn said to Tsukasa. Suspicion that his compliment was a line didn’t stop her from having to resist asking about it. Her name was nothing but a set of letters arranged in a way that was unchallenging to pronounce.
“Enchanté at any rate, everyone.” Adalyn smiled a little, if they hadn’t heard an actor say that then she hoped she looked friendly enough.
“Yeah, like she said, nice to meet you.” Gazimon said begrudgingly, if the smile didn’t tip them off, then that would, “For now.” he added under his breath, he was without plans to get cozy in this situation.
Unless protecting the lovely ladies summed up Tsukasa’s journey, Adalyn noted that Zephyr’s question was unanswered. Reminding Tsukasa about a question she hadn’t asked would be superfluous, if Zephyr wanted an answer Adalyn supposed he would remind Tsukasa himself.
Gazimon’s ears twitched with interest occasionally as he listened to Tsukasa and Gomamon. He brought up some good points about what their next course of action should be, “We should scout out the mansion because we’re in a group.” Gazimon nodded.
“We could go back upstairs where there are plenty of rooms and wait around the hall for somebody’s to come to us. We don’t know what’s waiting in all of the rooms, so if we don’t walk into any of them then we could avoid a trap.” Gazimon contributed to the plan, Adalyn was open to whatever they decided after that.

You Spin Me Right Round... [atrb=border,0,true] | [atrb=border,0,true] The Gaomon grinned. The Gazimon seemed irritated, but was silenced. Just like he wanted it to be. "See. Someone knows manners." He rolled his eyes. He turned over to the teen mentioned as Tsukasa and shook his head. " I haven't seen anything here. Just a library I plan on ransacking later. Otherwise, no sign that anyone else is here." he shrugged his shoulders. Frankly, he didn't care whether he ran into something hostile. He'd let the humans take care of them and be done with it with little to no dirt on his clean gloves. "Same here. Nice to meet you all." he clicked his jaw. Man, he hated being all nice and crap. He couldn't leave since he had no idea as to how big this place was, of if there was a way out.
He was going to have to make a mental truce. Once he was out, he'd act like he never met them.
The Gazimon and Gomamon, maybe. The former seemed like a temperamental little rabbit who was blunt, what with their exchange of words. The Gomamon he had no opinion on, other than the fact he was just as cautious. Then again, he was with a human, so that was probably a given. Gazimon suggested going back upstairs. Hell, he didn't even know where upstairs was. "But one of these doors has to lead to the exit. Or a roof so we could jump out of this place." he muttered the last part. Zephyr didn't like being near these guys any more than he wanted to. "And with opening some doors, there is the chance of bumping into someone."

Tsukasa mused, hoping he remembered his name correction. "I dunno about you, um... digimon... but I know I'm not up for jumping out of any exits. I like keeping my feet on the ground."
"All we can do is search," Gomamon added, climbing on Tsukasa's shoulder again. He made himself comfortable, and Tsukasa sighed. Since when did he become a free ride?
"Gazimon's got a point. If we look around, and I say we stick together, we're sure to find something," Tsukasa added, pacing as he mused his thoughts aloud. "Though, I'm really not sure where we should go after this... Heck, I'm not even sure just how big this mansion is. Or what we'll find, for that matter."
"If we're lucky, we'll run into a Greymon that hasn't eaten in three days." Gomamon added in sarcasm. Tsukasa didn't know exactly what a 'Greymon' was, but he had a feeling he didn't really want to find out. The teen waltzed over to Adalyn, outstretching a friendly hand.
"Let's go. If you stick close to me, you'll be safe, I promise," Tsukasa said kindly, putting on a smooth grin. He would stand by those words as well. Tsukasa might have been a friendly sort... No, he knew he was a downright skirt-chaser... But he also knew that he would refuse to let any harm, of any sort, to come to the skirts he chased. All of them.
Gomamon, meanwhile, glanced over to Gazimon, "You're the tough guy," he pointed a flipper at the gray rabbit. "Lead the way."

From somewhere within the mansion came the first signs that something was amiss. A soft creak. A misplaced groan of wind. A few odd scraping noises from claws. Dracmon looked looked to his brother and grinned. There were strangers in their home! A bunch of them in fact. Two humans. That was peculiar. "Ma won't like it. Humans. Two humans. Three digimon," The younger Dracmon said to his elder brother. They were peeking around the corner, whispering amongst themselves. The two hadn't seen any home-invaders in quite some time.
"We'll entertain our guests then?" The older brother asked hopefully.
The younger one let out a wisp of a giggle as he nodded furiously. His hand shot out and gripped his brother's arm tightly, "I say you do your sneak attack. You have the best sneak attack brother."
The older digimon nodded in reply, but chose not to speak. If they decided to talk too much they might be heard and that would just ruin the surprise. Ruin it entirely. The Dracmon brothers really did love surprises. Did their guests love surprises as much as they did? They would just have to find out...
"AHA!!!" The elder brother jumped out and began to cast his Eye of Nightmare, a skill where he began to move his hands and the eyes on his palms would hopefully hypnotize the digimon. If they would do as much and hypnotize the digimon it would make easy work out of the humans. After all, humans were such squishy little things.

“We’ll integrate the group security part of the plan by looking for entrances and exits before we open any doors.” Gazimon added, not agreeing to walking into any potential traps— or giving up all his credibility as leader nominee— that easily.
“Adalyn and I have got your back.” Gazimon concluded his planning, hopping off the couch.
Adalyn stood up and she seemed to shrug to herself after she did so. Her plan to go along with whatever the guys decided to do hadn’t changed one bit. She had faith that somebody would find them no matter what they did. Gazimon mentioned earlier that he smelled others scents. He depended so much on his instincts that Adalyn considered them reliable.
“That’s very thoughtful of you, but you don’t need to hold my hand and everything, Tsukasa.” Adalyn shook her head, “I’m not some kind of five foot five year old…” She scuffed the floor, discomfited.
Adalyn had never met anybody who acted that gentlemanly before. As she recalled, Tsukasa even said it was his duty to protect beautiful women. She didn’t want somebody to treat her like that if they felt professionally obligated to and she hadn’t hired them.
Before the group went anywhere, a Dracmon leaped out from behind a corner with a battle cry. Gazimon looked over, of course, and he would have attacked, but in shifting his gaze he was caught by the beginning of the hypnosis performed by the Dracmon. His facial expression was stuck mid-flinch.
He should’ve attacked first, like he would’ve if “aha” didn’t mean that someone had been found. Prior to that they were discussing seeking others out. Gazimon had been distracted by the conversation, he couldn’t listen to all of the mansion’s sounds or scents at once; that didn’t stop him from silently cursing his predicament.
"What?" Adalyn quickly looked from Dracmon to Gazimon, who froze up at the sight of the other digimon, "Somebody attack it!" Adalyn exclaimed, usually she tried to avoid playing Captain Obvious and jumping to conclusions, but Gazimon didn't so much as tolerate the sight of Dracmon.

You Spin Me Right Round... [atrb=border,0,true] | [atrb=border,0,true]
"Yeah....not happening. I could possibly be sold out by you should we run into any trouble." the Gaomon stuck out his tongue. He didn't trust the Gazimon all that much, so being a total asshole was justified. At least in his opinion it was. Though he proved a point. Looking for an exit was better than sightseeing around a house that they could possibly be trespassing in. Zephyr silently prayed the owners weren't all that mad about being in here.
He also felt like vomiting over the corny speech Tsukasa made. It sounded like something from a book. Though it did sound like something he himself would say. Perhaps they shared the same tastes...? Doubtful. The two were species apart from each other. That, and he could probably destroy him in 10 paces or less. Yes, he was that confident in himself. After their small conversation, the group began walking slowly. It didn't even take less than a minute for them to get ambushed. He was behind everyone so whatever had happened to him, he was a bit too far to be affected. Once he got closer, he shook his head. Two Dracmon. Of course something like those nuisances would be in a place such as this. "Fine. I may not like him, but anything to save a pretty face. Taste my gloves..."
Zephyr shifted into his regular fighting stance. He cracked his knuckles and with a dash, went after the closest Dracmon with a barrage of punches and jabs.

He sighed, letting his hands down to his side as Gomamon mockingly patted him on the back for comfort. "Let's go, then," Tsukasa muttered, pushing his hands into his pockets.
"Come on, ya big baby," Gomamon said to Tsukasa whilst riding on his shoulder again. "There's other girls, aren't there?" Tsukasa shrugged. It couldn't even really be counted as a rejection, he'd just met the girl. No matter, he wouldn't give up! No sir! He opened his mouth to say something to the group, but shut it before he had the chance.
"What are those?!" Tsukasa demanded, pointing a shaky arm towards the two Dracmon that had appeared. In an instant, Gazimon was put off attacking via some sort of hypnotism. Gaomon was quick to jump into the fight as well.
"Maaan, here I was hoping for a nice, quiet stroll," Gomamon complained.
Hearing Adalyn yell for someone to attack the digimon, Tsukasa drew in a breath. He shoved his fright aside, and adopted a determined expression. "Gomamon! I don't know what you can do, but let's see you kick some ass!" He declared.
"My pleasure," Gomamon grinned, rolling forward, going at the other Dracmon. "Marching Fishes!" From out of no where, a bunch of multi-colored fishes shot up, straight at Dracmon, flailing wildly. "You're gunna get fish-slapped!"
"..." Tsukasa was at a loss for words for a moment. "Your special attack is... throwing fish?"
"You ever been slapped by fish?" Gomamon asked, readying to send more. "It hurts!" Tsukasa face-palmed.
