• As one of the Vanir, Tess is nominally one of the bad guys, however, as is usual in her life, her loyalty extends exactly as far as her interest, or in this care, until she feels there is nothing else she can learn from DEATHS.
• Adopted by a member of DEATHS, Tess nonetheless had a fairly normal childhood, as normal as the childhood of a member of a family whose members were travelling more often than not could be, anyway.
• Her partner, known as Grimm, generally stays in his champion form, Stingmon, and although his persona is lazy and mildly arrogant, he is in actuality fiercely protective of Tess.[/ul]
