History
Kimara and Nathaniel Williams, children of Ethan and Charlotte Williams, were born on November 17th. Ethan is the owner of a chain of hotels in England and Charlotte, a former model, helped her husband managing the hotels.
All the Williams wanted was a child to whom they could leave their goods to,one day. Charlotte did have an older brother and a nephew, but Ethan couldn't leave all his work to some nephew who wasn't directly related to his blood,so he decided it was time to have a child. What the couple didn't expect was to have two children at once, but they accepted it pretty well.
As soon as Charlotte was discharged, she went back to work almost immediately, hiring a couple of baby sitters to look after the twins. Meanwhile, Kim and Nate grew quite happy together, bonding deeply.
But everything seemed to change for the twin as soon as they entered school; Ethan, their father, started giving his full attention to her brother; he was a guy after all, so he was more suitable to run the family's business than Kimara, a girl. Effy didn't like this one bit and to prove her parents that she was as good as her brother, put an extra effort on school, getting better grades than Nate. But this didn't seemed to change anything.
One night, 9 years ago more precisely, a storm crashed and a lighting hit an old tree nearby the manor and started a fire. The house was saved, but barely, and Kim had to find her own way out of the house. When she managed to get outside, her parents were already there, along with her brother, whom was the only one crying and ran to Kimara when he saw her. That was the moment she truly realized how much she meant to her parents; nothing, or barely nothing. As to her brother, Nathaniel, she still felt jealous and envy for him, but her love for him was stronger, so he is the only person she can't hold grudges to.
One day, just because she felt like it, she decided to dye her hair blue. Why blue? Well, she had always liked that color, besides, she liked to be different. Her parents didn't enjoy it as much as she did and it got her grounded, but she couldn't care less. She still did everything she wanted and felt like it.
At school, Kim was the President of the Music Club and was part of the Track Team, also managing time to study and to her friends, which, with time, she managed to make a couple of them.
But back in the Williams' manor, things went from bad to worse with her parents. They fought constantly and it got to the point where Ethan, Kim's father, had to sleep in the guest's room.
And 3 years ago, they finally split up. Charlotte moved to an old duplex she used to rent in London, taking Kimara with her. This was very hard on Kim and Nate, not exactly because their parents were splinting up, but because they would end up separated.
When Kim arrived at her new school, she seemed to be a hit; apparently guys in London loved blue hair, or they just liked weird girls. Apart from that,she made a couple of friends, but just a few that she could actually call 'friends'. She joined the Music Club once again, but not as President, just a member.
Meanwhile, Charlotte went back to the fashion industry, but this time, as a fashion designer, having more time to her daughter,which really pleased Kim.
Effy hasn't seen her twin, Nate, since their parents split up, but they talk regularly on the cellphone, which is why it is such an important object to her.
One day, on July 26st 2010 more precisely, something strange happened. Kim had thought she had left her phone on the top of her desk, but when she went to grab it, there was no phone; instead, on the same spot where Kim had left her phone, was now some sort of card with a picture of some kind of brown rabbit. She was confused, but didn't care much about; she thought it was probably something her mother had left there for her and that Kim had put her phone somewhere else.
Days, weeks even, passed and Kimara was still unable to find her phone. One day she was in her room looking at the card, thinking about where had she placed her phone when suddenly the card turned into her phone.
Not long after, her phone turned back into a card and the picture of the brown rabbit appeared, just this time it was just a picture; it was like the picture had life, floating a little above the 'card'. And then the rabbit talked to Kim, asking her to go to some 'Digital World'. Kimara didn't knew what he was talking about. The brown rabbit gave her a small summary of what it meant but not much. And a month later, Kim was sucked by her phone. When she woke up, she was in a totally different place with that same brown rabbit standing in front of her. In flesh. She later learned that his name was Lupmon, but she began calling him Lucas.
Even after Lucas explained to her the reason as to why she was there, she didn't quite understand it, but she gave her word that she would do the best she could.

Kimara isn't like the average and ordinary teenage girl; she does cares a bit for clothes and looks, but not her clothes or her looks. She is quite judgmental and notices how everyone else looks like or what they wear. Kim doesn't quite know what she wants to do with her life, but she knows it will be related either to music or fashion; apart from Nathaniel and Lucas, those are the things she loves the most.
Although Kimara seems friendly to everyone, that is not entirely true. She is nice to pretty much everyone yes, but she only trusts her real friends, which aren't many. By the way, don't even try to insult Kim; this pretty girl with a cute looking face isn't a tiny bit afraid of getting her hands dirty and will act without hesitating.
Her relationship with Lucas is quite good. They do clash quite a few times, but they also complement each other; while Kim is clumsy, Lucas is there for her. And Kim for him as well.
Notes
Although Kimara and Nathaniel are twin brothers, the fact that they are fraternal twins makes it so only Kimara is a Chosen Child.
