PSYCHOLOGICAL INFORMATION Personality Vergil is a youth who doesn't act like the stereotypical teenage boy. He is much more interested in other more blander things that may be deemed odd by others. He is quiet, preferring to be in a environment where there is not much noise. He likes to be left alone, his head is bustling with thoughts about this and that and he can focus on them better when he is by himself. Vergil enjoys being relaxed, and if asked he would say his favorite 'activity' is sleeping. He doesn't allow himself to be stressed for long, finding a way to release any tension through different methods. Vergil knows how to keep himself from displaying much emotion, able to react calmly to things. He also, when in a conflict, doesn't reveal to much about how he feels not unless in that moment he experiences something that causes his stoic facade to falter. He can turn serious in a snap if he knows he needs to. Vergil doesn't like conflict, but when he wants to achieve something he will do plenty of things to get it. He will act reluctant if it involves fighting though. He is not at all sadistic, but knows when violence is necessary. He tries to avoid conflict, but if someone or something happens to be in the way he will allow a brawl to happen. He is someone who can anticipate something. Due to him being alert even when he looks a little oblivious to his surroundings he makes sure to expect things to happen. Vergil is also good at following someones lead and orders, making him a valuable asset to his team. He excels in all of his classes due to his thirst for knowledge. He is able to absorb information with ease and often takes advantage of that when he can. Technology is his forte, and since he spends so much time by himself he sometimes takes time to handle any electronic devices he has in reach. Though he seems a little bit off to his teachers due to his lack of socializing with his fellow students. And Vergil does lack friends, save for Floramon, of course. This is because he doesn't find any real reason to have them, preferring to spend his time on his own. Being by himself and observing others and the environments surrounding him inspires him to write. He likes to write and put his thoughts and ideas down on paper to make them, in a way, permanent. Vergil can also keep boredom at bay by reading. He likes to read anything that can capture his interest quickly. And he gives every book a chance to hook him in before he puts it down. He can entertain himself easily by doing these two things; reading and writing. He doesn't communicate with his family often, even though they live under the same roof. He is aloof, and able to avoid them when he wants to. He will not talk with his father, but will chat with his mother on occasions. Two of his pet peeves are ignorance, and impudence. Though it is rare to get a real reaction out of him he will show signs of annoyance when someone displays this kind of behavior. He dislikes even the thought of someone disrespecting someone else without real reason to. Vergil also hates stupidity, and he is known to come up with a retort, speak quickly, or sigh when someone is being idiotic in one way or another. But he tries not to let it bother him for long. He prefers not to care, and keep himself hidden away from the world then become known in the public eye. Vergil is a expert at blending in with the crowd so to not draw any unwanted attention. But then, he doesn't like to receive attention at all. Another trait that is well hidden in the youth is his ability to be deceptive. Vergil can keep his tone and expression steady whenever he lies. He also knows how to make things believable when they're obviously not. He will take advantage of people who aren't informed about a certain something. One way how he avoids trouble is by using others. The average person would feel guilt, but he would just say it was necessary. He doesn't really feel guilt toward anything that helps him and even a few others. Some things just need to be done.

History
Vergil's mother, Erin Menno was a open-minded and kind person. She was bubbly, happy and considered perfect among her peers growing up. She was in and out of relationships, breaking the hearts of many before she found the perfect mate. He was a gentlemen, smart and kind. He was very tentative, working hard to gain her attention and affection. He was also very patient and after a short while he won her over. Erin mother knew a lot about him during their time dating. But, she was unaware that he was working for DEATHS, but she was informed that he was a scientist. She also didn't bother to ask more about his work, uninterested in biology or experimenting. Erin was social, so she didn't have time to pry into her new husband's life. Her attention was focused on other more important things. If only she knew the love was mostly one-sided.

She became pregnant, and both reacted positively to the news that there was a new life growing inside of her. She was ecstatic, informing her friends and family about her current state. Erin's husband, in the mean time, informed DEATHS about this. Perhaps she could be a candidate to their cause. But they would have to do the procedure with her consent. Knowing that she would never willingly agree to put her child in danger they had to rearrange a few words here or there to make her agree. Erin was given the treatment, her fetus injected with the serum that would alter it. She was closely watched afterward. Her pregnancy progressed and a few days before her due date the digitama appeared. It was pale green in color, and small.

Vergil was born afterward, coming out as a perfectly healthy child. He was sent home after his mother recovered from the rough birthing process and he was checked by doctors. His father was beyond excited, and also proud he was able to help produce a son who would be a chosen child. After a few days the egg containing his Digimon hatched. It revealed a small Leafmon who became quickly attached to the little baby. They both were quiet, but Leafmon talked a little more. Vergil stayed close to the little Digimon, both learning ether how to crawl or hop and move around together. His mother showed him love and gave him encouragement as he grew. But his father was a little more distant, and often found ways to keep his mother from bothering him much. Ether way, Vergil turned into a quiet and shy young boy.

When exposed to other children who attempted to approach him he would often shy away or just keep quiet until they left him alone. Vergil often was by himself, not causing much trouble for his parents. His mother was worried about him, so she dragged the reluctant boy and father to a psychiatrist. Vergil was asked many questions as the man attempted to probe his mind. At eight he was expected to be a little more active. But he wasn't, he slept and played with his toys by himself. Now a Yokomon, his Digimon usually had one-sided conversations with her partner. She adored him, and made sure she was careful not to disturb or bother the sensitive youth with her chatting. She was his only friend. And the psychiatrist was taken by surprise when he explained that he just wanted to be alone.

He often visited this women, and they talked whenever they met. Vergil became use to this, and soon he smiled a little more. But it was still rare for anyone to see one upon his face when they weren't his family or his Digimon. Months passed by, and then years, and in school his anti-social behavior was noticed. He was seen as a target by others, and soon he developed a grudge against a few of his tormentors. Yokomon also suffered, and seeing her cry was the only thing that made him become aggressive, sparking his anger and even hate. He had ignored them before, but one time when he finally stood up against them he became more violent. It was a little bit of a blur to him, but he found himself with bruises and a swollen eye while the bully had just as much damage. He was blamed for the incident due to others claiming he was the first one to throw a punch.

His mother was horrified by the news, while his father seemed... curious by the out of character action. Vergil was punished, along with Yokomon who was also said to have attacked the boy's Digimon. His wounds were treated, with his mother scolding him about his behavior as he started to heal. Ashamed and a little confused Vergil accepted his punishment and soon everything went back to normal. Well, almost, he didn't have as many bullies, but there were still a few who would confront him. When he was fourteen his father started to work on their bond. But Vergil didn't seem interested in becoming close to his father. His father persisted though, and they often talked, though the conversations were short and his parent did most of the talking.

Vergil noticed his father was pleased with him being stoic. It was like the man was trying to observe him, study him even. It made the blond a little uncomfortable. Sensing this, Yokomon often did the talking, trying to hurry things along. These little talks stoped once the man was satisfied with the results. Vergil didn't think much about it though . Then one day his Digimon started to act strange, and soon enough the reason was revealed. She was close to digivolving. Her form changed, and Vergil watched on in awe as he saw his partner turn into her new form; a Floramon. She was able to walk, and loved her new appearance. She looked and felt beautiful, Vergil was pleased that she liked her new form. Life had become decent, but he was unaware that there would be plenty of secrets that would be revealed in the future that he would soon discover.

When he was fifteen, about to turn sixteen he was searching for a item of his. He was rummaging through his parents things when he discovered a open letter. He noticed it was his father's and since he didn't want to go into his father's private affairs he started to put it away. But Vergil noticed a few words that caught his attention. He opened it despite himself and read it. It talked about him, about his mother, about so many things he did not previously know. His father was working for DEATHS? He didn't expect that. He continued to read and soon discovered that he was involved with the mysterious company. He was actually a product of it. Vergil put away the letter in it's original position and abandoned his previous search. And he did what he always did when he was confused, he thought.

Did his mother know about this? He never thought himself special. But he had a feeling his life wouldn't be normal in the future. He didn't tell anybody, not even his own Digimon about what he discovered. He would wait, and hope that whoever was watching him would leave him alone. After his birthday his father finally informed him about it. The man said that he thought it was time and he was forced to rush this process due to constant emails and letters bringing up the issue. The nervous man explained to him that he was a chosen child, and meant to join with a few others like himself. Floramon was there during that discussion, and both agreed to not tell Erin, his mother. Family drama would not help them now. So they kept it quiet, and to themselves.

And Vergil was told to wait for his teammates to appear. He was also told by his father to be wary of any other special children like himself. He reacted calmly to this, and also took it seriously. This wasn't a story fabricated by the elder, he could tell it was true. The letter proved it. And he had heard rumors here and there about the company. It was a shady one, a little ominous as well. Vergil kept a cool head while his Digimon was doing the exact opposite. She was actually angry. How could he be a chosen child? What did they do to him, and how did they know he was chosen? And when would they meet the others? Vergil didn't try to answer those questions yet, he would try to learn more about the company. Since then he has been waiting patiently, using his time to learn more about DEATHS. But the company had plenty of secrets that seemed near impossible to reveal.

• sleeping ~ his favorite thing to do when he is completely relaxed. It's rare to see him tired from lack of it.

Floramon is a proud and lovable Digimon. She is highly social, and just loves to start up a good conversation when given the chance. She isn't at all shy, often talking for her partner who usually remains quiet. She adores Vergil, and also admires him. But she admires others too. She likes the strong and cool type, becoming fascinated with them when she sees those traits shine through. She sometimes comes up with a opinion about someone by appearance alone. But she will wait until she actually meets the person before coming up with a conclusion. Floramon can be a little difficult at times, her stubborn behavior showing when she gets into a argument or refuses to give in. She is dependent on her partner, staying close to him no matter what. She worries about him though and the problems he has to deal with in life. She can sense when somethings wrong, so she will usually pester him about it.
