Whether it be subjecting another person to some horrendously embarrassing ordeal, or reducing a resistant prey to a blubbering mass of flesh. Baas craves the sense of power he extracts from the thrill of conquering his fellow man. The introspective type, Baas attributes this megalomaniacal streak to a lack of control over his early life. Thanks to an overbearing father and mother, these traits have only grown over time, turning the boy into a control freak. A man of many appetites, Baas can never quite get his fill. First and foremost, Baas isn’t anyone’s friend. He simply “pretends” to be because doing so benefits him. If and when that person is no longer of value Baas will simply move on to another target. Born with the gift of gab, forming bonds and relationships is mere child’s play for him. However; there are those rare times when Akihiko becomes attached to one of his pseudo-friends. Instead of seeing them as a commodity they are promoted to a sort of pet-like status in his eyes. Not so much a true friend or equal, but a companion meant to keep his company and be defended should they come under fire. Behind a thin veneer of glistening white teeth and beguiling eyes lurks a twisted monster, suffocating beneath its own façade. With every act of false benevolence Baas cringes, only truly relishing in his rage through battle, or when the people‘s backs are turned. Nevertheless, he soldiers on, the youth’s resolve fueled by the knowledge that through these acts he can easily obtain whatever he desires. Be they male or female, knowing few can resist his charms and clever wordplay, often giving in to his wishes with great fervor. Rarely will mankind look upon the man’s eyes emblazoned with hatred. An even rare sight are the wanton cruelty in his actions personified by the barring of inhumanly long canines and a dark smile. Nor will they hear the arrogance that hangs heavy in his voice whenever he gloats. Concealed by a handsome face, beguiling eyes, and a charming smile, lurks a venomous tongue and a cruel wit. And whenever so inspired, be it by humor, frustration, or, simple meanness. The two emerge with unrelenting fury, spewing bile at whomever so happens to anger Akihiko. Mockery is their weapon of choice, typically mixed in a cocktail of flattery or spiteful jabs. To no surprise this sudden eruption of cruelty from the normally placid Akihiko throws most off guard. Whenever questioned about this hostile behavior, however; he simply explains it away as a joke and brushes off concern with hollow apologies.
