History

Odette's story starts a little over 16 years ago when her father, Kazamoto Seiishi, went on a business venture to Paris, France. There he met a woman by the name of Lorelei Beaumont. The two had a one night stand leading to Lorelei becoming pregnant with Odette with a digitama appearing from her family's television 3 months after the conception of her daughter. Eventually Lorelei notified Seiishi on their soon expectant daughter. While he offered marriage to Lorelei, she declined knowing that a marriage without true love wouldn't ever work. The day Odette was born, the digitama hatched. From it came a Nyokimon and the special item was a white gold locket with wings in the shape of a heart.

Odette had an over all relatively normal childhood. She had a bit of trouble though concerning her parents. While it was tough for a child to have both parents living in separate homes, it was even tougher having them in two different countries. She remained with her mother and her family in Paris but it wasn't like she was completely ignored by her father as there were times when Seiishi would visit her or Odette would spend a vacation in Japan with him. There was also a bit of controversy over the fact that she was biracial also, but never any direct dislike from her other family members. Both sides of her family being moderately wealthy, Odette was forced to hit the books as her family believed that she should be well educated. It was just unfortunate that her happy go lucky attitude every now and then forced such boredom on the back burner.

As Odette grew, so did Nyokimon. Aside from her mother, Odette's strongest relationship was with her digimon partner. If anything, Odette thinks of Piyomon as her sibling since they were both born on the same day and were raised together. In school, Odette and Piyomon were fairly popular amongst their peers, mainly for their goofy and outgoing natures. Admittedly, Odette was never the toughest when it came to battling with a digimon. Mainly because she didn't approve of fighting unless it was absolutely necessary. Til this day, she still holds that belief. It's just a shame that she has no idea that her and Piyomon's survival will depend on their ability in combat with another set of chosen preparing to eliminate her.

Odette can be described as a bit of a wild card. She can be graceful and refined but prone to reverting into a typical boy crazy, goofy and irrational teenage girl at any time. While she can be a bit silly and sometimes slack, she is still an ambitious young girl and will strongly devote herself to whatever she feels is right. She tends to listen to her heart more than her mind. That can sometimes make her come off as soft and weak but it's best not to make such an assumption. Any challenge tossed her way, she will rise and attempt to over come it to the best of her abilities.
